Route: The starting and finish line is in Piraeus in the port of Athens.

Awards & Prizes
An Award Medal will be awarded to each of the first three winners of the general classification for Men and Women Categories. A commemorative medal and a diploma of participation will be given to all runners who finish the race.

Health Coverage
In any case all runners participate solely at their own risk. The organizers have no responsibility for whatever happens to the runners related to health issues or is due to lack of preventive medical check. It is highly recommended that the participants undergo a thorough medical examination before entering the race. The organizers will not ask for medical certificates from any athlete (male and female), since they all participate at their own exclusive risk and responsibility (children are at the liability of their parents or guardians). We will also provide offers for special health checkup for all runners, and members of their families.

All participants will be timed using an electronic timing system.

Athens is a city with a glorious history and vivid present. It is a magical city worshipped by gods and people with plenty historical monuments, such as Acropolis, the ancient Theatre of Dionysos, Odeion of Herodes Atticus, Olymbion, Roman Market, Panathinaiko Stadium (also known as Kallimarmaro).

Athens is a city of different aspects. A walk around the famous historic triangle, Plaka, Thission and Psyrri, the old neighborhoods, reveal the coexistence of different eras. It is worthwhile to take a stroll through the central streets with their art déco, art nouveau and antebellum buildings. Luxurious department stores and small intimate shops, fancy restaurants and traditional taverns, all have their place in this city. Visitors can also enjoy its nightlife.
Athens by night totally changes. The options for entertainment satisfy all tastes varying from the famous bouzoukia, which are the leaders in the Athenian entertainment, to the numerous theaters all around Athens offering a different type of entertainment.

Athens offers plenty of choices since visitors can also explore its beautiful suburbs and neighborhoods, which are close to the historical center. The southern suburbs, located on the coast of the Saronic Gulf, such as Faliro, Glyfada, Voula, and Vouliagmeni offer many opportunities to take a walk along the seaside, while you will also find many beautiful organized and free beaches, large shopping centers and nightclubs (especially during the summer).
In the Maroussi suburb (north of the centre) are the facilities of the Olympic Athletic Centre of Athens, where the majority of the athletic events were held during the 2004 Athens Olympic Games.
Halandri (next to Maroussi) is also worth a visit, with its beautiful street markets and stylish cafes and bars.

The ancient port of Zea, which hosted the symbol of sovereignty of the Athenian state, its great fleet, is the present Pasalimani. The name Pasalimani was established because during the Turkish occupation, pashas of Athens came here along with their harems for swimming. The access to the coast for Christians was prohibited. Zea is the second largest of the three ports of Piraeus. There are still historical cafés here, from a time when the high society of Piraeus went every afternoon for a walk with their children, nannies and dogs. The most historic team in Greek football, Olympiacos, was founded as a club in the café Kyveleia, in Pasalimani, which no longer exists.

In the west side there is Zea Marina, which was built by the Piraeus Port Authority, in 1955. At Moutsopoulou coast, where Kaniggos street meets Sirangiou street, you will see the Tzivanioti villa, known as “the house with palm trees”. It is of stone, in neo-Gothic style and built in the late 19th century. Very close to the villa there have been survived interesting ruins of ancient shipyards. Pasalimani ends at the east on a hill, the top of which has formed a square called Alexandras. Certain cafés here offer panoramic view of the urban complex of Athens. 

In Pasalimani there are many cafés and restaurants, most of which offer wonderful view to the Saronic Gulf and Zea Marina. On the eastern side of the bay you can see a part the ancient walls.

Pasalimani or Zea is the night outing place for the Piraeus people. All along the promenade you will find any kind of shops, cafes, bars, fashion shops, department stores and cinemas. in the two marinas hundreds of luxury yachts giving a flavour of Cote D'Azur and St Tropez in France. During the sunny days not only in the summer the Piraeus citizens as well as many Athenians will take a walk around Pasalimani and will stay for a coffee or a drink on the open area Cafeterias around the Gulf of Zea.

The amusement area starts from the marina Zeas with two big cafeterias near to the naval museum and continues until Kastella and Mikrolimano. On the parallel and Vertical pedestrian street of Pasalimani you will find many fashion shops equivalent with the shops of Kolonaki
